General Questions
1) What guild status are you applying for? (Casual or Raiding)
-Raiding
2) How did you hear of us? Why do you want to join Steadfast?
-I saw a recruitment thread on the WoW forums. After reading about your guild, you seem to have what I like, tight-knit group of people, mature, and drama-free
3) Have you read the requirements for application, our guild rules and polices, and will you abide by them?
-Yes, I have read them and will abide by them.
4) If Casual, do you have any friends or family currently in the guild, if so who?
-N/A
5) How often and at what times (include time zone) do you play? How many hours a week?
-I log on M-Th from roughly 7-11 in the evening. I try to keep the weekend free to spend time with my g/f, but I may be around sporadically to help out if needed.
6) Tell us about yourself (Age, Occupation, Location, Married, Kids?)
-I'm a 33 yr. old, financial analyst for the federal government. Yes, we all know they can't balance any budgets.
I live VA, about 30 miles outside of DC. I'm not married and I consider my 4-legged and furry friend, Winston, about as close to a kid that I have now.
7) Describe your personality.
-I'd say I'm pretty easy going, but know when it's time to focus and when it's time to mess around.
8) What guilds have you been in and what was the reason for leaving your last guild?
-I actually just reactivated my WoW account about two weeks ago. I was in a guild on Exodar called Ending Theme. I left the guild and the game in order to take care of some personal health issues and also spend some time with my grandfather who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He passed away last year, so that put some things into perspective for me.
9) What was your role in your last guild (if applicable)?
-I was one of the guild's main tanks.
10) What do you enjoy most? (PvP, PvE, 5 man instances, 10 man raids, 25 man raids, dailies)
-I enjoy doing mainly PvE aspects of the game. I definitely enjoy the 10 man and 25 man raids a lot, due to getting to hang out with the folks in the guild. I also sometimes just want a little quiet time to go farm mats for pots, etc.
11) What are your goals in game?
-One of my goals in game is to have fun with a group of people that have the same interests as myself. Whether it's just hanging out in Dalaran and chatting or taking down Halion, really makes no difference to me. I just want to be able to enjoy the company more than anything.
12) Do you have any other alts over level 70? If so what are their names, classes, and spec?
-I have one alt. His name is Caradan, and he's a level 80 paladin that is Ret/Holy.

-Yes, I may have missed a punctuation or two, but I believe it's pretty good grammar.

Raider Questions (For those joining to raid)
14) What is your gear score for the character that is applying? (We understand gear score is not indicative of performance, and please make sure the gear fits the role).
-Since I've been out of the game for about a year, gear score is a little low 4797, but I'm working on getting it higher.

-Unfortunately, since I just transferred this toon, he's not on the armory yet.
16) What raid role are you applying for? (tanking, healing, dps)
-I'd be applying for a tanking role
17) Are you ok with performing a different role and/or modifying your spec if asked by raid leadership?
Yes, but at the moment, I definitely don't have the gear to support one of the other specs just yet.
18) What raid experience do you have (please state farthest progress attained)?

19) Are you able to take constructive criticism about your raid performance and use that to improve?
-Yes, I'm able to take constructive criticism and always welcome advice that can help me improve as a player.
20) Are you comfortable with a dkp-bid system?
-Yes
21) Are you going to be upset if someone outbids you on an item you desire or will you be happy a guildmate and fellow raid member got an upgrade even though they outbid you?
-As long as the item helps the raid team succeed as a whole, no problem at all.
22) Are you able to hear/speak in Vent and own a pair of headphones/microphone?
-Yes
23) Is your internet connection consistently stable?
-Yes
24) When are you available for raiding (what days and times)?
-I usually am available to raid M-Th 7-11
24) Why should we invite you instead of another person?
-I feel that I know my class well and I can take criticism and turn it into a positive thing to help me improve as a player. Plus, who else can you blame when the raid wipes? It's always the tanks fault right?
