Tuesday the 6th, Deathbringer Saurfang met his demise at the hands of our great raiders! This allows immediate access to the new bosses opened up this week! Great job and way to hang in there. |

Ok, we never do this but it seems we have another update to make in such a short time period. The Gunship Battle on ICC 25 was taken out on our second attempt ever in 25 man and Saurfang nearly bit the dust in just an hour of attempts. He will stand until we hit him again in two weeks after our Christmas raiding break. In other news, Steadfast surprised itself by ranking in the top 10 alliance guilds on Zul'jin in 25 man Icecrown, coming in 9th with its 2/4 kills earlier in the week...we should now be tied for 6th on the server with 3/4 kills when the site updates (according to guildprogress.com). Pretty nice accomplishment for a friendly guild that likes to raid (as opposed to a hard core raiding guild). Seems we are doing something right. It sure feels like we are. Our mostly-neglected front page needed some love, and Steadfast members gave it some again last night. After one-shotting Lord Marrowgar we won a hard fought battle over Lady Deathwhisper using our never-fail technique of calling "last attempt of the night" which has generally served us well over the year in motivating a best-efforts attempt. The silver bullet always finds its mark. Grats to everyone who fought hard and died often on their way to a satisfying victory over over the first two bosses in 25 man Icecrown Citidel. |

Been a bit since the last update. Been busy with real life but still we are way active in the game. Ulduar 25 -> Cleared everything except Yogg. In fact also worked on many additional hard mode achievements with progress. TOC 25 -> Cleared every boss, including Anub'erak. Great work all. Heroic TOC 25 -> Start time!!! Gonna have fun here for a bit.
Recruiting -> We have had lots of new members, but at the same time some openings within our raider ranks. If you are a priest (holy or shadow), shaman (restoration), or if you are a dps class and can push at least 4500 dps in a 25 man raid...please apply. Must be over 18.

Can we just say wow....AWESOME JOB! Last night we recorded two new guild firsts. After one-shotting Freya on just our second ever fight with her....we proceeded to kill Thorim and then Mimiron, arguably the hardest normal fight in Ulduar 25. Mimiron, a boss that many guilds struggle with for many raid sessions, we downed on just our first night of attempts. Way to go. Grats to everyone for this accomplishment. It has been a well-fought struggle. Now for tonight....time to work on General Vezax and then Yogg-Saron! And to recap for the week:
- Record pace on our first night, clearing Flame Leviathan (2 tower hard mode) to Hodir in a single pass. Setting guild records in dps on most bosses. And then the second night, downing Freya, Thorim, and Mimiron. This puts us at 11 out of 13 bosses in progression for Ulduar 25 and into the top 15 of Alliance guilds, top 30 overall on the server! |
